What areas do you service? Drea’ Custom Designs proudly serves the greater New Orleans area and close surrounding cities within a 25-mile radius. Consultations outside of this area are available for a travel fee of $125 to cover time and mileage.
How do I book a consultation? Consultations can be booked directly through the booking form on our website. Once your request is submitted, you will receive a reply within 2–3 business days to confirm your appointment. I accept a select number of consultations at a time to ensure every client receives our full attention and dedication.
Is the consultation free? Yes! In-home consultations are completely complimentary for clients within our service area.
What happens during the consultation? Your consultation will last approximately one hour. During that time, I will:
- Measure your windows to ensure precise, accurate specifications
- Bring fabric and hardware samples for you to see and feel in your own space
- Provide design advice and guidance specific to your window treatments
Please note that while I love beautiful interiors, my design expertise and advice is specific to window treatments only and does not extend to general interior design.

How soon will I receive my estimate? Following your consultation, you will receive a detailed estimate via email within 3–4 business days.
How do I confirm my order? Once you have reviewed and approved your estimate, a 50% deposit is required to move your order into production. Payment can be submitted securely through our online payment portal or by mailing a check. Production begins once your deposit has cleared.
How long does production take? Custom window treatments have a lead time of 4–6 weeks once your deposit has been received and cleared. Lead times may extend for larger orders or during peak and holiday seasons when workrooms are at high demand. If you have a specific date or event you are working toward, please let me know at the time of your consultation so I can do my best to accommodate you.
Do you offer rush orders? Rush orders are considered on a case-by-case basis and are not always feasible depending on current workload and workroom availability. When available, rush orders incur a 30% upcharge. Please inquire at the time of your consultation if you have timing concerns.
What happens when my order is ready? Once your window treatments are completed, you will be contacted via email to schedule a convenient date for professional installation. Installation is performed by Drea’ Custom Designs and is quoted separately on your estimate.
What is due at installation? Your remaining balance is due on the day of installation.
What is your rework and defect policy? I stand behind the quality of my work. If your window treatments have a fabrication defect or were not made to the correct specifications, they will rework or remake them at no charge.
Reworks requested due to client changes, such as a change in fabric, color, or style after the order has been placed, will incur additional labor and material fees. Because all window treatments are custom made to order, I am unable to accommodate order changes, cancellations, or refunds once production has begun.
