 Austrian ShadesThe Austrian Shade is an elaborate shade that reflects an image of an affluent sumptuousness of a luxury European home. Austrian shades have been around for many decades and were once common in mansions and luxury homes. While the Austrian shade appears complex and intricate, they can immediately make an impact on any window. When raised, the fabric moves upward in deep scallops. Similar to balloon shades, Austrian shades can be elevated on cords into swags and when let down, gather into an elegant scallop.
